2008 Iraqi Revenue Stamp for Box of Lawyers' Retirement 500 Dinars Face Value

During the year of 2008 Iraq issued another new revenue stamp for Box of Lawyers' Retirement of face value 500 Dinars, surcharging the old face value stamp of 100 Dinars. Scan as shown in corner marginal Block of four stamps.

Iraqi Cancelled Foreign Tax Stamps with errors & varieties

Errors happened in the three known values of Iraqi revenue stamps which were issued in the form of overprinting on the second issue of Ishtar Gate - foreign (consular) taxes, in the three stamps of face values: half Dinar, 1 Dinar & 5 Dinars.



Errors happened in:


1- Type of overprint obliterating the Arabic world "Al-kharijiyyah" = "The Foreign".


2- Location of overprint obliterating the Arabic world "Al-kharijiyyah" = "The Foreign".

Very Big-sized Iraqi Document

This is a very huge-sized Iraqi Document from the British Occuppation Era. With the following details: Size of cachet document : more than 4 × A4 paper size in width and height dimensions. Nature of document: Notary Public Office document related to Property shares of a family living in Baghdad. Date of Document's Issue: BAGHDAD, 16th of December 1921 , under British occupation of Iraq. Affixed Iraqi revenue stamps: 8 Annas (small ovpt Arabic digit), 8 Annas (Large ovpt Arabic digit, inverted ovpt), 4 Annas (Ottoman views ovptd in Arabic "Dakhal" ) & 5 Rupees (Ottoman views ovptd in Arabic "Dakhal" ). Cachet's Condition: has 4 lines of tear 3 horizontal lines and one vertical line in the middle, but repaired. Revenue Stamps' condition: all in very good condition & were not affected by the tears. All cancelled by signature and negative seals. Two blue-ink colored negative seals of the Notary Public of Baghdad shown stamped on the document in right and left sides of the document

7 Iraqi documents stamped with Consular Fee stamps including Ishtar Gate and overprints

Here are shown seven Iraqi documents which stamped with consular fee stamps (Foreign), the stamps with different kinds of issues and overprints. First Iraqi consular stamps (Foreign Fees) were issued in year 1987 with Ishtar Gate drawing ( The Babylon's Gate ) printed by Thomas De La Rue co, and later in the End of year 1988 were issued another type of Ishtar Gate but printed in Russian printing company. Later on 1989 the previous first and second issue of Babylon's Lion revenues of face values: 10 Dinars (1st issue) + 5 Dinars (2nd issue) were ovptd with Arabic world " Al-Kharijiyyah" = " Foreign" in English for use in Iraqi consular, Embassies and Representatives offices in abroad.
