7 Iraqi documents stamped with Consular Fee stamps including Ishtar Gate and overprints

Here are shown seven Iraqi documents which stamped with consular fee stamps (Foreign), the stamps with different kinds of issues and overprints. First Iraqi consular stamps (Foreign Fees) were issued in year 1987 with Ishtar Gate drawing ( The Babylon's Gate ) printed by Thomas De La Rue co, and later in the End of year 1988 were issued another type of Ishtar Gate but printed in Russian printing company. Later on 1989 the previous first and second issue of Babylon's Lion revenues of face values: 10 Dinars (1st issue) + 5 Dinars (2nd issue) were ovptd with Arabic world " Al-Kharijiyyah" = " Foreign" in English for use in Iraqi consular, Embassies and Representatives offices in abroad.

5 Iraqi Checks affixed with Erroneous Revenue Stamps

From the shown five Iraqi Checks of Rafidein Bank used in different dates in year 1989 , the following fact can be resulted : these Iraqi revenue stamps were used in period before the Gulf War 1991 or Even The Iraqi Attack on State of Kuwait on 2nd of August year 1990 , the date of beginning for their use in 1992 is wrongly listed in Ref - Joe Ross " The Revenue Stamps of IRAQ " / 3rd Edition 2002 .

4 Erroneous Iraqi surcharged revenue stamps

2 Iraqi Banks Checks with imprinted revenues - unlisted

Both shown checks are related to two Iraqi Banks from the Royal Era, one for the Ottoman Bank and the other for Rafidein Bank, revenue tax were pre-paid for each one of these two checks was 10 fils ( issue as inscribed between the Lotus (11 - 7 - 55 ). Very Rare and interesting philatelic pieces of Iraqi revenue stamps history.
