From the shown five Iraqi Checks of Rafidein Bank used in different dates in year 1989 , the following fact can be resulted : these Iraqi revenue stamps were used in period before the Gulf War 1991 or Even The Iraqi Attack on State of Kuwait on 2nd of August year 1990 , the date of beginning for their use in 1992 is wrongly listed in Ref - Joe Ross " The Revenue Stamps of IRAQ " / 3rd Edition 2002 .
Both shown checks are related to two Iraqi Banks from the Royal Era, one for the Ottoman Bank and the other for Rafidein Bank, revenue tax were pre-paid for each one of these two checks was 10 fils ( issue as inscribed between the Lotus (11 - 7 - 55 ). Very Rare and interesting philatelic pieces of Iraqi revenue stamps history.
